Rights, Responsibilities and Protocol

Target Attendees: All

What are your rights at the national, regional and local level of our great sisterhood?  You have three levels of rights and they are protected through governing documents. There are national, regional and local bylaws to define what they are and how they are protected.

What are your responsibilities at the national, regional and local level of the sorority?  You also have three levels of responsibilities and they are defined through our governing documents as well.  There are national and regional Standard Operating Procedures and your local chapter should have their own Standing Rules.

Protocol may be defined as “a system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be followed in formal situations” but for our great sisterhood it involves numerous aspects of our functioning.  What is expected when we invite the Grand Basileus or Regional Syntaktes to a chapter event?  How do we handle the installation of new officers? What is appropriate dress and behavior when representing the sorority?  How is this managed? Should there be written rules or procedures to assist us in these areas?

Join us for a review of these three topics and gain tips on how to formalize our administration and management of all three while becoming more effective and efficient in our Implementation as we grow

P.E.A.R.Ls  for Wisdom

Target Attendees: All

Perception, Education, Actualization, Realization and Learning

Numerous studies have found that 95% of our cognitive activities (emotions, decisions, behavior, and actions) are beyond our conscious mind. Therefore, our interactions and experiences are triggered by emotions, traumas, memories, life instincts, feelings, and desires; and often directed by the ego.  Do you or someone you know have a big EGO? Come understand how the ego impacts your outlook and behavior within your personal, professional and sorority life.

Level II TORCH Training
